Druzy refers to tiny crystals in their natural state, attached to their host rock, often chalcedony.    Many druzies are attractive with their glittery appearance.

In recent years many druzies have been coated with gold, titanium etc., to give different colours such as metallics, blues, rainbow effect, etc.
