The watery blue – blue/green – aqua colour of beryl .   Other beryl gems are emerald (green), morganite (pink-peach), heliodor (yellow) and goshenite (colourless).

Originally found mostly in Brazil, is is also found in Australia, Myanmar (Burma), China, India, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Zambia and Zimbabwe, and USA.
