How much is postage?
Australia – for orders under $100 postage is at Australia Post rate of $7.45. Orders over $100 qualify for free delivery. All items will be sent by tracked parcel post.
Local Pick Up and Local Delivery (if not time sensitive) is available at no charge.
Insurance is available , please send a message to email@example.com if you would like this for your purchase.
Overseas destinations – international airmail postage is charged a flat rate of $28 for tracked post.
How long will my package take to arrive?
Australia – packages will usually be sent the day after payment is received. Depending on your location, postage could take between 2 and 10 days although most seem to be received within 3-5 days. Please inquire if you need your item by a certain date and I will endeavour to get it to you in time.
Overseas destinations – parcels will often take between 2- 3 weeks to arrive.
Can my item be gift wrapped ready to give?
Yes, all items are gift wrapped in tissue, organza, tins or boxes and ribbon and ready to give. After all, every item is a gift, even if it’s just for you!
How can I pay?
Payment is accepted through Paypal, direct deposit, cheque and cash.
I don’t have a Paypal account. Can I pay by credit card?
You can pay with your credit card on PayPal without an account. Go through checkout and select Paypal. When the Paypal screen comes up, find on the left hand side of the page, Don’t have a Paypal account? Use your credit card or bank account. Click continue. A few more clicks and you’re done – no account needed!
I love one (or more) of your pieces, but can’t afford them all right now. Can I layby?
Yes, layby is available on request. Please send me an email with what you’d like and we’ll go from there!
I see you go out to shows and events with your jewellery, what if I purchase something and its already been sold?
There may be the very rare occasion that an item you select has already sold. If this happens, I will contact you as soon as I receive your order and you may either have your payment refunded, put towards another selection or a custom piece may be able to be made just for you!
What happens if I don’t like the item when I receive it?
Purchasing over the internet can mean your expectations are different to the reality of the item once it arrives. Should you find that any item from Annette Piper Dip. Gem. Handcrafted Jewellery (that was purchased online) does not meet your expectations, please advise within 3 days of receipt to arrange the return of the item – in the same condition as received – and to organise either a replacement item or a refund of your payment on return of the item Custom or bespoke pieces may not be able to be returned, however extensive consultation will have taken place so I’m sure you’ll love it and won’t be wanting to return it!
Returns need to be sent by registered post at the sender’s cost.
The box arrived in the post in poor condition and the jewellery is damaged. What do I do?
Should any jewellery arrive damaged please contact me as soon as possible for return and immediate repair. I will get it back to you as soon as can as good as new. Please note that if the stones are broken, identical or very similar replacements may not be available or may take time to source – I’ll let you know as soon as I have examined the item if there will be any delay or problems in making it new again.
Help! My bracelet/necklace/earrings broke!
First, don’t stress! All items from Annette Piper Dip. Gem. Handcrafted Jewellery are fully guaranteed. Secondly, if necessary, pick every piece up you can find and put them securely in a ziplock bag. Then email me!
If there has been a breakage or problem (not caused by mistreatment) it will be repaired free of charge and returned to you. Although I make pieces as sturdy as possible, jewellery does require care when wearing, handling and storing and repeated repairs due to damage and heavy wear and tear may incur a repair charge.
Should an item need to be returned to me for repair, please note that trackable or registered post is required and that this postage is at the sender’s cost.
How do I know that the photos of the jewellery are accurate?
I make every effort to represent the jewellery shown as accurately as possible. Many of the photographs are taken in extreme close up to show detail, therefore, please pay special attention to the measurements given in the descriptions to confirm the size.
Photographs are taken in natural light and on a white background. Some photos can be slightly adjusted in brightness and contrast to show colours as close to the actual piece as possible. However, please be aware that different monitors can show different colours, so please be guided by the description as well as the photographs.
I have recently started including a photo of my inspiration for each piece, unless stated otherwise these inspiration photos were found on Pinterest. The inspiration items are not included in the purchase of any item.

How do I know my personal details are safe with you?
Newsletter. All information collected (name, email address) is used only by me. The newsletter data list is stored on Mailchimp, which is GDPR compliant for EU citizens. The information collected is only stored to send you newsletters. You may unsubscribe to these at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any newsletter.
Orders. This is a secure website. All information you provide during the ordering process (name, address, email, phone number) is used only by me to safely send your jewellery to you. If you choose to pay through Paypal, they maintain their own separate information about you that is not shared with me. In accordance with Australian Taxation Law, orders are kept on file for a period of 7 years. If you wish a copy of the information held on you from the ordering process, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and this will be provided (verification of your identity may be required). If you believe your information needs updating, please email annette@annettepiper so it can be updated and kept accurate. Should you wish me to remove your personal information from my system after a transaction is complete, please email me at email@example.com and I will manually remove it.
