More on the dainty side, but definitely not delicate, this smaller sized necklace of multi hued tourmaline is still a striking combination and its beautiful fine silver handmade pendant adds just enough difference to make it stand out.
These beautiful little pebbles of tourmaline came from Afghanistan, understandably not a lot is getting out of there these days. Their colours are quite divine with a dominance of pink that still allow the other colours to shine.
This is a perfect necklace for spring and summer where its mostly soft pastel tones will feel most at home, yet it will look fabulous against darker richer colours such as chocolate brown, navy blue, forest green and black where it will have the opportunity to pop and make its own little statement.
Approximately 46cm long and finished with a sterling silver clasp and accents.
This necklace is named Melite after the nymph who was an attendant to the goddess Britomartis and daughter of the river Erasinus, in Greek mythology.
