Totally feminine with its pretty soft pink hues, this necklace is made with thick polished discs of rose quartz, natural pink-lavender toned freshwater cultured ‘double’ pearls and tiny 14ct gold fill accents with a gold vermeil clasp.
The double pearls are natural – as the oyster/mussel has many nucleus put in the shell at the one time, occasionally they fall against each other and the animal coats them into a single pearl.
This is a necklace that could be worn on so many occasions – wear it with a summer dress, a pastel, neutral or dark coloured evening dress, with a navy or black dress, with a work suit, under a crisp white linen shirt or even over a fine dark knit in winter!
50.5cm total length (19 3/4″)
Such a desirable and feminine necklace led to the name Euboea. She was a nymph, daughter of the River Asopus, who was carried off by Poseidon in Greek mythology.
