Sonam – pearl, amethyst, peridot, citrine and garnet necklace [AP09-N628]
Just because jewellery may be simple in design doesn’t mean it is any less stunning. And here is the necklace that proves this. A simple strand of pearls becomes a colourful and eye catching with the addition of small gems in between each stone.
Perfect for the busy woman who deosn’t want or have time for fussy, high maintenance jewellery, this necklace will be able to be worn to work, to the supermarket, to a special evening out – all with equal aplomb!
Gorgeous plump creamy white semi baroque freshwater pearls (in a huge size may I say!) are dotted with dark purple African amethyst, bright green peridot, warm yellow citrine and rich red garnet. Finished with a 12ct gold fill extension chain (from which hangs another lovely big pearl) the necklace is adjustable between the lengths of 18 ¼ inches and 21 ¼ inches (46-54cm).
As the new owner of these gorgeous pearls will consider herself very lucky, I have named this necklace Sonam, which is a Tibetan name meaning ‘the fortunate one’! |
