I have found ANOTHER favourite gemstone – I was sent a sample of larvikite and instantly fell in love with it.  The grey background gives way to striking sheets and blocks of steel-blue colour which are mesmerizing at every turn and move.   Such gorgeous stones need little extra adorning so I have simply added some silver freshwater pearls (treated) and some shining argentinium sterling silver balls.   

 

Although bold in size, the necklace presents elegance and sophistication and will look equally stunning with for work or play.  Wear it with a charcoal or black suit with a crisp white shirt, with your LBD for an evening out or how about with a black turtleneck and trousers for casually chic weekend wear.
