Peridot, topaz and apatite ‘twig’ earrings

I made a pair of ‘twig’ earrings last year in pearls and the design has been in the back of my mind, occasionally bumping my creative side to do something else with the same sort of structure and this is what I came up to whilst delving into my box of special gems!
Perfect for a special occasion, a birthday or anniversary party, an intimate dinner as this style just loves to be glammed up! Of course, you could wear them with a tailored pair of trousers and silk shirt with your hair swirled up for some elegant, casual glamour!
Made with argentinium sterling silver (tarnish resistant), the wire has been shaped into a gentle curvy shape, then the gems wrapped onto the ‘twig’. The gems used are (from top): grass green peridot in a marquise cut, swiss blue topaz in a full briolette cut, pink topaz heart briolettes, green topaz pears and teal-blue apatite pear drops.
Approximately 2 ¼ inches / 5.5cm in total length, these earrings are sure to be admired! Don’t wait too long as they are sure to be snapped up soon with such glorious gems. |
