Obelia – amethyst points and sterling silver necklace
This is an unusual, almost whimsical one of a kind necklace. I couldn’t resist buying these wonderful amethyst ‘points’ - straight from the ground, these have been broken off and simply drilled across the stem of the points so that I can bring them straight to you!
Completely organic and natural, these amethysts let you examine and admire the natural beauty of mother nature and her unique ability to facet her own gemstones.
I guarantee this necklace will constantly draw comments by people – so be prepared!
Three magical points are separated by sterling silver and attached to a sterling silver chain. Designed to sit at the base of the neck, the necklace is approximately 16 ¾ inches / 42.5cm in length.
Obelia is a Greek name meaning ‘pointed pillar’ – quite appropriate given the amethyst points don’t you think!?
