Hyperia – pink opal, pearl and rock crystal sterling silver neck [AP10-N688]
A feminine, one of a kind statement piece and one for the pink fans in the group. Full of movement, grace and soft colour, it looks beautiful on and adds a glow, no matter how you feel when you first put it on!
How about wearing it with a white sundress in summer where it will gleam and shine? Or pastels and florals in spring where it can show the promise of summer? Why not wear it to work against your favourite suit and see it add just enough of a feminine statement?
In autumn and winter, how about donning it over a fine dark knit in black, chocolate, navy, burgundy where it can be bold and sparkle and add some light to the dimmer days?
This mass of delicate pink was carefully achieved – by adding a little more pink, a little more sparkle and a little more lustre until the mix was ‘just right’.
Rectangles of pink common opal, freshwater cultured pearls in button, nugget and blister forms in various shades of light and rose pink (treated), small angular nuggets and faceted balls of icy clear rock crystal quartz all went into the mix. Four strands join into sterling silver cones at the side and then go into a single strand, finishing with a sterling hook clasp. Approximately 30 ¼ inches / 77cm from tip to toe, this is the perfect longer line necklace.
Hyperia was the naiad nymph daughter of the River God Inachus in Greek mythology.
