Rich blue sodalite gemstones have been cut into large randomly shaped faceted flat nuggets.   To contrast against the dark blue I’ve added big balls of sterling silver and in between these, royal blue lapis lazuli and smaller sterling balls. The effect is timeless and dazzling.

 

To keep the necklace streamlined, I’ve finished it with a large sterling silver magnetic ball clasp – which makes doing it up a breeze, but please be aware that the magnet is super strong and could interfere with pacemakers and similarly sensitive electronic equipment.

 

The total length of the necklace is approximately 21 ¼ inches / 54cm although it sits a little higher than the length indicates due to the size of the stones.
