I love this bright, summery necklace that speaks of sunshine and lush growth.   Three sections of colour – golden buttery yellow, lemon yellow and lime green – you can pick which colour to wear at front to change the look completely!

In between each disc of mother of pearl shell (treated) are 12ct gold fill balls and a freshwater cultured pearl (treated) in the same colour tone.   Finished with a 12ct gold fill toggle clasp that you can wear to the side or to the back, the necklace is a comfortable 21 ½ inches / 55cm although it can be made shorter (but not longer) on request.
 
Deino was the nymph wife of the River Spechius in Greek mythology.
 
 
Note that although colour treatments of freshwater pearls and mother of pearl shell is permanent, this necklace should be stored out of direct light to maintain the vibrancy of these colours.
