Six strands of sparkling gorgeousness ! –is that even a word?  Even if it's not, it suits this necklace.

 

A special piece, this design is one of my favourites – it is so classical that it can be worn by anyone and look luxe and elegant.  Can’t you just see a glamorous film star of the 1940s-60s wearing something just like it?   So, wear it with a suit, a little black dress, a fitted frock.  Hey, why not with your bathing suit as you arrange yourself on your deck chair by the pool!?

 

The amethyst is light and sparkling and in these detail shots you can even some pieces that are verging on being ametrine (an amethyst/citrine combination) although these aren't obvious in person.

 

But, I digress…..  it is finished with a sterling silver slide clasp and the necklace is approximately 17 ½ inches /  44.5 cm in length.
